Macaé City Council approves 2027 budget guidelines and 2024 accounts

The Macaé City Council has passed two significant legislative measures regarding the municipality's financial management. On August 26, council members unanimously approved Project of Law 022/2026, which establishes the guidelines for the 2027 Annual Budget Law. This legislation serves as a framework for defining municipal revenues, expenses, and priorities for the upcoming year.

Additionally, the council unanimously approved the 2024 government accounts for Mayor Welberth Rezende. This approval follows a prior opinion issued by the Tribunal de Contas do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (TCE-RJ). The decision confirms the regularity of the administration's resource application and budget execution during the 2024 fiscal year.
