Macaé completes bidding for Praia Campista waterfront repairs

The city of Macaé has completed the bidding process to repair the Praia Campista waterfront. The project aims to reconstruct the boardwalk, bike path, and coastal containment structures that were damaged by heavy sea swells.

Mayor Welberth Rezende stated that the project required specific environmental licenses and coastal engineering planning due to the maritime location. Construction is scheduled to begin in October, with the goal of completing the restoration and lighting before the summer high season and the end-of-year holidays.
