Macau gaming operators donate 4.8 million euros for Tibet flood relief

Six gaming operators in Macau have announced a combined donation of approximately 4.8 million euros to support victims of recent flooding in the Tibet Autonomous Region. The donations aim to assist emergency relief and post-disaster recovery efforts following the incident in the Himalayas on August 26.

SJM Resorts, S.A. donated five million patacas (approximately 530,500 euros) through the Central People's Government Liaison Office in Macau. Wynn Macau Limited also pledged five million patacas to support relief, resettlement, and reconstruction. Additionally, the Galaxy Entertainment Group and the Lui Che Woo Family Charity Foundation jointly donated ten million patacas (approximately 1.061 million euros) to aid recovery in the Gyirong County of Xigaze.
