Macau gaming operators report mixed Q2 2026 financial results
Major gaming operators in Macau reported mixed financial results for the second quarter of 2026. Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) saw its Q2 net revenue grow by 6%, with adjusted property EBITDA increasing by 9% and margins expanding to 31.4%. The company announced an interim dividend of $0.90 per share and noted that Macau's cumulative visitor arrivals surpassed 20 million on June 20, 2026.
Melco Resorts and Entertainment reported a 31.8% annual increase in net profits for the second quarter, reaching $22.7 million. While Melco's operating revenue fell approximately 6% compared to the same period last year to $1.25 billion, operating profits rose 2.5% to $127.8 million. Melco is currently preparing for the phased opening of the new REM hotel at City of Dreams in the third quarter of 2026.
