Maccabi Tel Aviv denies rumors of mass player sell-off

Maccabi Tel Aviv management has officially denied rumors of a mass player sell-off following their 0-3 defeat to CSKA Sofia in the UEFA Europa League. Club officials clarified that despite media speculation regarding key players such as Roy Reviov, Tyrese Asante, and Elio Varela, no formal written offers have been received for them.

The club noted that the only legitimate written offer currently on the table is for striker Sayer Abu Farchi from MLS side Colorado Rapids. Regarding Roy Reviov, the club stated that while there were discussions involving agent Falko Ramadani concerning interest from Spanish club Elche, no official bid has arrived. Reviov is expected to travel to Sofia for the upcoming rematch.

Maccabi leadership emphasized that the club owner does not require funds from player sales and that departures will only occur if suitable replacements are secured. The team remains focused on the return leg in Bulgaria to attempt a comeback in the tournament.
