Macedonia hosts a series of summer concerts across cities in August
The Macedonian music scene saw several high‑profile concerts in early August. On 5 August the pop‑rock band Duper performed to a packed audience at the Ancient Theatre in Ohrid, featuring guest appearances by Bojana Arsvoska, Jang Dadi, and Nikola Perovski‑Pere.
The following day, 6 August, the acclaimed Trio Interart presented a chamber‑music program at the Officer’s House in Bitola as part of the BIT FEST, with free admission and works by Schocker, Videnović, Rubtsov and Damase.
On 15 August, legendary Macedonian groups Memoria, Mizar and Synthesis staged a free concert in Strumica’s City Park to mark the country’s 35th year of independence.
Finally, singer‑songwriter Sergej Kjetkovic held back‑to‑back shows on 8 August in Dojran’s City Park and on 9 August at the Ancient Theatre in Ohrid, joined by guest vocalist V.I.S. Biljana. Both events were free to the public.
