Macedonia poll finds VMRO‑DPMNE ahead, Micicowski leads

A telephone survey of 1,200 adults conducted from 10‑27 June used CATI methodology with a 95 % confidence interval and ±3 % margin of error. The poll shows 20.5 % of respondents would vote for the ruling VMRO‑DPMNE, followed by 6.2 % for SDSM, 5 % for DUI, 4.4 % for VLES, 2.9 % for Levica and 1.5 % for ZNAM. Party leader Christian Micicowski enjoys a clear advantage over his rivals, while VLES leaders Izet Mejti and Bilal Kasami rank ahead of DUI leader Ali Ahmeti among Albanian voters.

Economic issues dominate public concerns: wages, pensions, unemployment and rising prices are the top problems, with crime and corruption in second place. Trust in the judiciary remains low and respondents express dissatisfaction with the new public prosecutor. Euro‑integration retains strong support, as 80.3 % say they would accept EU membership without a veto.
