Macedonia volleyball team prepares for European Championship

The Macedonian national volleyball team is preparing for its fourth appearance at the European Championship. The team is scheduled to travel to Sofia to begin competition on September 9.

Head coach Josko Milenkoski noted that the team is placed in a challenging group, facing opponents such as Bulgaria, Poland, Ukraine, Portugal, and Israel. Milenkoski acknowledged the high ranking of several opponents but emphasized that the squad is well-prepared and intends to represent the country with dignity.

Libero Filip Jovanov, making his senior debut at a European Championship, expressed his readiness for the competition. Following a successful season in Slovenia with OK Hoče, Jovanov stated that the team is prepared to fight for every point and will not yield easily to their opponents.
