Macedonia wins paragliding European silver in Krushévo

Macedonia achieved historic success at the European Paragliding Championship held in Krushévo from August 8 to 19. The national team secured the silver medal in the team competition, finishing behind Slovenia, while Spain took the bronze.

Ana Berger claimed the gold medal in the women’s individual competition. The team’s performance was bolstered by pilots Darko Stankovski, Martin Jovanoski, Gjorgji Ristovski, Gligor Zafirov, Aleksandar Gacevski, and Blagoja Grozdanovski, who collectively flew over 813 kilometers during the nine-race event.
