Macedonian Cultural Center partners with Poetic Bridge Festival in Zagreb

The Macedonian Cultural Information Center (KIC) in Zagreb participated as a partner in the international Poetic Bridge Festival held at the Trnješka Culture Center (CeKaTe) in Zagreb. The festival focuses on poetry as a universal language to connect people across linguistic, cultural, and generational boundaries.

Macedonia was represented by renowned poet Suzana V. Spasovska, who participated in multilingual poetry readings alongside poets from Hungary and Croatia. Spasovska also took part in an international panel discussion regarding the experience of poetry beyond language and the role of translation.

The event included workshops on music, poetry writing, calligraphy, dance, and movement. The festival was organized by the Trnješka Culture Center in collaboration with the Liszt Institute (the Hungarian cultural center in Zagreb) and the Macedonian KIC in Zagreb, with support from the Croatian Ministry of Culture and Media and the Macedonian Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
