Macedonian Cultural Week to be held in Albania

The Macedonian Cultural Week in Albania is scheduled to take place from September 3 to 6, 2026, across the cities of Tirana, Durrës, and Korçë. Organized by the Cultural Information Center of North Macedonia in Tirana and the Embassy of North Macedonia in Albania, the event aims to showcase Macedonian art, tradition, and culture.

The extensive program includes concerts by the Aiga orchestra and the Con Tempora ensemble under maestro Ivan Eminović, folklore performances by the EuroArt Academy, poetry concerts, and DJ sets. Other activities feature a photography exhibition by Pali Kolefski, a monodrama by Done Donev, and the promotion of Macedonian wines and spirits from wineries such as Tikveš and Bovin.

The event also serves to commemorate the 35th anniversary of North Macedonia's independence. Macedonian flags will be displayed on the main boulevard in Tirana during the festivities. The week is supported by the Ministries of Culture and Tourism of both North Macedonia and Albania.
