Macedonian diaspora talent scouting proposed in the US

The United Macedonian Diaspora (OMD) and the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) are discussing a new initiative to scout football talent among the Macedonian diaspora in the United States.

Arzi Belio, President of the OMD Board, met with FFM leadership to propose sending coaches to America to organize tournaments and identify young talents for potential inclusion in Macedonian national teams. Belio noted that while official figures are unavailable, the OMD estimates there could be up to three million people with Macedonian roots in the US, including descendants.
