The Macedonian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has issued an urgent advisory to Macedonian citizens residing in Saudi Arabia, particularly in Riyadh, following a series of rocket and drone attacks.
Citizens are urged to maintain maximum vigilance and strictly follow instructions from the Saudi Civil Defence and the Ministry of Interior. In the event of security alarms or sirens, individuals should immediately seek shelter in enclosed spaces and stay away from windows. The embassy advises avoiding public gatherings, military installations, and the border area with Yemen.
Authorities have noted that photographing, filming, or sharing videos of the attacks is strictly prohibited under Saudi law and subject to penalties. Additionally, travelers are advised to contact airlines regarding flight statuses at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh due to potential delays and cancellations. Suspicious objects should be reported via the Tawakkalna application.
