Macedonian Health Minister Azir Aliu argues early election would render government reshuffle illogical

Health Minister Azir Aliu said that reorganising the government and undertaking other political changes would not make sense if early parliamentary elections were planned. He urged coalition partners to focus on closing open issues during the current two‑year term and to address major economic and welfare challenges before the regular elections.

Aliu also noted that a technical government would have to be in place three months before any early election, leaving little time for effective governance, and warned that a premature reshuffle would waste energy and reduce impact on society.
