Macedonian Minister Timcho Mucunski criticized over US visa promises

The opposition party Levica has demanded an explanation from Macedonian Minister Timcho Mucunski after he failed to deliver on promises made in January that Macedonian citizens would receive a positive surprise regarding U.S. visa policy within six months. Seven months later, Macedonia remains on former President Donald Trump's list of 75 countries whose nationals are eligible for immigrant visas, and the government has issued no further comment.

Levica argues that the foreign ministry’s strategy amounts to empty rhetoric and calls on Mucunski to clarify the status of any cooperation with the United States and the prospects for the promised visa improvements.
