North Macedonia deputies' wealth analysis reveals two millionaires

An analysis of public asset declarations and data from the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption reveals the wealthiest members of the North Macedonian parliament. Two current deputies have declared assets exceeding one million euros.

Ismail Jahoski leads the list with a calculated wealth of at least 2.287 million euros, primarily consisting of loan claims, rental income, loan repayments, and personal deposits. Menduh Thaci follows as the only other millionaire on the list, with 1.23 million euros declared.

Other notable declarations include LSDM leader Venko Filipce, with approximately 850,659 euros in assets including six apartments in Skopje and a motorcycle, and VMRO-DPMNE deputy Gjorgjia Sajkoski with 802,601 euros. Former Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski also appears among the wealthiest, with his 2024 declaration including four apartments and a house.
