Macedonian national teams prepare for European volleyball and UEFA football fixtures

The Macedonian national volleyball team is set to begin its European Championship campaign in Sofia against host nation Bulgaria. Player Aleksandar Lyaftov noted that while large groups of Macedonian fans are not expected to be present in the Arena Sofia, the team anticipates support from friends and family. Macedonia faces a challenging group that includes Bulgaria, Poland, Israel, Portugal, and Ukraine.

In football, the Football Federation of Macedonia has announced ticket sales for the upcoming UEFA Nations League match between Macedonia and Switzerland, scheduled for September 26 at the Todor Proeski National Arena in Skopje. Ticket prices range from 500 to 1,800 denars, with VIP options available for 3,000 denars. Sales begin on September 10. Additionally, tickets for the match against Slovenia in Ljubljana will go on sale on September 14.
