Macedonian Olympic Committee meets with International Esports Federation
The Macedonian Olympic Committee (MOC) held a working meeting with a high-level delegation from the International Esports Federation (IESF), led by President Vlad Marinescu. The discussions focused on deepening cooperation and the further development of e-sports within North Macedonia.
The meeting aimed to align e-sports with traditional sporting values, with a specific emphasis on protecting integrity, providing education, and engaging younger generations through digital platforms. MOC General Secretary Gjorgji Tasev noted that e-sports have been officially recognized in the country since 2022 and highlighted that a special commission has already been established within the Olympic Committee to facilitate the integration of e-sports into the national sporting landscape.
