Macedonian opposition MP Monica Zajkova demands answers on Arben Feta's salary

Monica Zajkova, president of the Liberal Democratic Party and member of parliament, has submitted formal parliamentary questions directly to the prime minister demanding written answers and full transparency over the salary paid to former vice‑premier Arben Feta, who is now serving as a special government envoy in Brussels. The inquiry requests precise data on the number of days of unjustified absence, the exact net and gross amounts paid, social contributions, as well as expenses for representation, official travel and related allowances.

Zajkova also asks who authorised the payment, whether any official decision required Feta to repay the money, and what steps the government will take to ensure that legal rules are applied equally to all public‑sector employees. The Liberal Democratic Party insists on the release of any relevant archival documents and says it will not allow the case to be dismissed as a routine political matter.
