Macedonian PM Christian Mitzkovski vows swift anti‑corruption action

Prime Minister Christian Mitzkovski addressed the “Od slovo do vechnost” academy ceremony in Ohrid, marking the Day of Saints Cyril and Methodius. He highlighted growing public impatience with delayed justice and pledged a tougher fight against corruption.

Mitzkovski said he will not remain silent when errors occur or when faster prosecutorial action is needed, urging institutions to respond more quickly to complaints and to curb officials who profit at the expense of citizens.
