Macedonian Stock Exchange turnover rises 75.86%

The Macedonian Stock Exchange saw a significant increase in activity during the short trading week of October 19 to 22, 2026. Total turnover across all markets reached 50.4 million denars (approximately 820,400 euros), marking a 75.86% increase compared to the previous week.

Trading volume saw a substantial rise with 273 transactions completed, which is 99 more than the prior week. A total of 14,212 securities were traded, an increase of 8,648 units.

Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje dominated market liquidity, accounting for approximately 55% of the total weekly turnover with 27.7 million denars. Other highly traded companies included Alkaloid AD Skopje with 8.4 million denars and Makpetrol AD Skopje with 4.8 million denars.

In terms of price performance, Makstil AD Skopje recorded the highest growth at 2.86%. Conversely, Makedonski Telekom Skopje experienced the largest decline, with its share price falling by 4.29%.
