Macedonian Village ethno-complex reopens near Skopje
The Macedonian Village ethno-complex near Gorno Nerezi has reopened to visitors after seven years of neglect. Located approximately eight kilometers from the center of Skopje on the slopes of Mount Vodno, the site has undergone significant renovation to restore its previously damaged facades and roofs.
The 12,000-square-meter complex features 12 authentic houses representing the traditional architecture of six different Macedonian regions. These accommodations include 54 rooms with a total capacity for nearly 123 guests.
In addition to lodging, the complex includes an ethno-museum, an amphitheater, craft shops, and an antique shop. The site is accessible via the Chrom settlement or through walking and cycling paths connecting Middle Vodno and the St. Panteleimon Monastery.
