Macedonistics seminar promotes cultural diplomacy in Skopje

The International Seminar for Macedonian Language, Literature, and Culture, hosted by Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, has facilitated significant participation from experts in the field of Macedonistics. The event received notable support from the Macedonian Cultural and Information Center in Sofia, led by Director and diplomatic advisor Prof. Dr. Zoran Pejkovski.

This involvement aims to advance cultural diplomacy and the international affirmation of Macedonian language and literature. The Macedonian Cultural and Information Center has spent three years fostering bilateral projects to connect Macedonian scholars, writers, and translators with international counterparts. This year, the seminar included prominent Bulgarian cultural figures, such as writer and publisher Plamen Totev, to deepen scientific and literary cooperation between the two nations.
