Maceió and Rio Largo face water supply interruptions

Planned maintenance at the Pratagy catchment area in Maceió is expected to affect water supply for 20 neighborhoods on Tuesday, August 18. The work, conducted by BRK engineering teams, is scheduled from 7:00 to 19:00. Affected areas include Cruz das Almas, Jatiúca, Ponta Verde, Pajuçara, Jaraguá, Poço, Centro, Prado, Levada, Ponta Grossa, Ponta da Terra, Vergel do Lago, Trapiche, Pontal da Barra, Benedito Bentes, Gruta de Lourdes, Farol, Pitanguinha, Jacintinho, and Mangabeiras.

Following the maintenance, water service will be restored gradually, a process that may take up to 72 hours to fully normalize.

Additionally, maintenance at the Jarbas Oiticica catchment in Rio Largo is scheduled for Monday, August 17, from 7:00 to 19:00. This intervention may impact the Jarbas Oiticica and Antônio Lins residential areas, with a similar 72-hour window for full service restoration.
