Maceió and Sinop announce major urban infrastructure projects

In Maceió, Mayor Rodrigo Cunha has announced the development of the Parque e Arena dos Corais in the Riacho Doce district. The project is a multi-use complex covering approximately 372,000 m² and is planned as a public-private partnership (PPP) with an initial estimated investment of R$ 600 million. The complex will feature a FIFA-standard arena capable of holding 30,000 to 40,000 people, alongside a public park, a football museum, and various leisure facilities. The project is expected to generate over 5,000 jobs during construction and is projected to attract 1.5 million visitors annually, potentially generating R$ 200 million in induced economic activity.

In Sinop, Mayor Roberto Dorner has authorized the second phase of works for the Jardim Botânico Park. This R$ 1.3 million investment includes the construction of a green labyrinth for sensory trails, a digital tree providing internet access, and enhanced security measures such as total fencing and new guardhouses. The improvements also include administrative rooms and a warehouse for municipal machinery.
