Maceió church service features inclusive moment for child with autism

During a children's service at the Assembleia de Deus church in the Dubeaux Leão neighborhood of Maceió, Alagoas, a young boy with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) sparked a moving moment by asking if autism crises are a sin.

Speaker Thais Araujo responded to the boy, identified as Djalma, by reassuring him that he is loved by God exactly as he is. She emphasized that neurodivergent individuals are included in spiritual life and that God does not show favoritism based on differences. The interaction, which was shared on social media, drew significant emotional responses from viewers.
