Maceió Mayor visits Gigantão to support local sports competitions

Maceió Mayor Rodrigo Cunha visited the Vila Olímpica Gigantão in Cambona to support recent sporting events, including rhythmic gymnastics and table tennis competitions. The visit highlighted the complex's role in athletic development and its capacity to host athletes from various regions.

The Gigantão facility is capable of hosting up to 6,000 children simultaneously for various sports activities. Mayor Cunha emphasized that the city aims to not only practice sports but also to become a hub for major competitions that reveal new talents and provide local athletes with opportunities to interact with high-performance professionals.
