Macerata commemorates sixth anniversary of Pamela Mastropietro's death

The city of Macerata held a commemorative ceremony at Giardini Diaz to mark the sixth anniversary of the death of Pamela Mastropietro. The event brought together civil, military, and religious authorities, including the Bishop of Macerata, Prefect Isabella Fusiello, and Mayor Sandro Parcaroli.

During the ceremony, officials emphasized the need for increased security and social support. Prefect Fusiello stated that institutions are working to ensure such a brutal crime never happens again, while Mayor Parcaroli noted that the tragedy should serve as a warning to better support young people in situations of fragility. The commemoration included the planting of a white camellia, a symbol of peace and remembrance, near a commemorative plaque placed at the site three years ago.
