Macerata implements shuttle services to mitigate elevator closures

The Municipality of Macerata has announced several measures to mitigate the impact of elevator closures in the historic center from the former Park Sì.

A replacement shuttle service is currently active on weekdays from Monday to Saturday, operating between 15:30 and 20:00. The shuttles depart from Giardini Diaz and arrive at Piazza Oberdan, with an approximate frequency of every 10 minutes. Starting next week, the service will expand to include morning hours, tentatively scheduled from 07:30 to 15:00.

To further assist residents and visitors, the city is increasing the number of available blue parking spaces in the historic center. Information is being disseminated through new directional signage at Giardini Diaz and via informational leaflets distributed by Civil Protection operators and available in local shops.
