Macerata launches anti-bullying fundraiser and teacher tuition discounts

The Rotary Club Matteo Ricci Macerata held an evening event at Cantina Andrea Giorgetti in Potenza Picena to raise funds and awareness for the “Semi di rispetto” project, run by the association Help Sos Salute e Famiglia. The initiative targets primary‑school children in Macerata, promoting kindness, empathy, respect and the prevention of bullying. The event was led by club president Francesca Accorsi, with project coordinator Daniela Zepponi outlining its educational goals, and association president Cristina Marcucci thanking participants.

Separately, the University of Macerata announced a tuition reduction of up to €500 for teacher‑training and qualification courses for the 2026/27 academic year. Prospective participants must submit an expression of interest by 15 September, complete an online form and provide required documentation. The discount does not guarantee admission but aims to encourage enrolment in a wide range of subject areas.
