Macerata Municipality announces selection for communications officer
The Municipality of Macerata has issued a public notice for the selection of a communications officer to support Mayor Sandro Parcaroli. The role involves drafting press releases, managing digital and social media channels, and assisting with institutional events. The position is a fixed-term contract lasting until the end of Parcaroli’s mandate and is classified within the instructor area. Notably, a university degree is not required; candidates must instead possess a high school diploma and at least 10 years of proven professional experience in communication within public or private sectors.
This selection follows a political debate regarding new roles in the Mayor’s office. While the municipal government has proceeded with the search for a spokesperson, it has frozen the appointment of a separate staff manager position.
