Macfrut 2027 to feature Chile and integrated agribusiness platforms

The 44th edition of Macfrut, an international trade fair for the fruit and vegetable supply chain, is scheduled to take place from April 20 to 22, 2027, at the Rimini Expo Centre in Italy.

Organized by Cesena Fiera, the event will feature a new multi-sector agribusiness platform by integrating Macfrut with Growtech Europe, which focuses on pre-harvest technologies, and Fieravicola, dedicated to the poultry industry. The 2027 edition will highlight Chile as the ‘Featured Country’ and the Piedmont region as the ‘Partner Region.’ Additionally, the kiwi has been designated as the ‘Fruit in Focus.’

The fair aims to drive business, networking, and industry knowledge, supported by the Italian Agency for Foreign Trade (ICE). A preliminary event, Macfrut N. E. X. T., is also planned for April 19.
