Machineguns and Identity to guest at Ota Production's Getsuwara Climax Series

Comedy duos Machineguns and Identity have been announced as guest performers for the Getsuwara Climax Series, an event hosted by Ota Production to determine the annual comedy champion. The event is scheduled to take place on December 16 at the Jiji Press Hall in Tokyo.

The Getsuwara comedy live show has a history dating back to 1988, utilizing a battle format where rankings and points are determined by votes from both live attendees and streaming viewers. This year's climax series will feature the guest performers alongside three competing championship candidates and MC Time Machine No. 3.

Members of Machineguns, Shuichi Takizawa and Ryo Nishibori, and Identity, Naoya Tajima and Akihiko Miura, expressed their enthusiasm for the event. The comedy group Sentinel has already secured a spot in the series after leading for six consecutive matches since the start of the season.
