Maciej Gładysz finishes fifth at Spa, closing in on FIA F3 podium

Polish driver Maciej Gładysz secured fifth place in the main race of the sixth round of the FIA Formula 3 Championship at Spa‑Francorchamps. He had started the Saturday sprint from twelfth, then climbed ten positions to finish fifth, fighting for a second podium of the season and ending the weekend just under a second short of the podium spot.

The result followed a recent win at Silverstone and a strong third‑fastest time in Friday practice, but his qualifying session was compromised by rain and an accident that halted the final run, denying him a chance to improve his lap. The points earned moved Gładysz up to sixth in the overall standings. He and his ART Grand Prix team now look ahead to the next round at Hungary’s Hungaroring, a circuit he describes as a "home" track.

He expressed satisfaction with the performance despite the setback, thanking his team, family, sponsors and fans for their support.
