He revealed that the situation escalated to a point where his family felt unsafe, noting that vandals destroyed his family grave and his wife expressed fear regarding their security.

Stuhr also reflected on his complex relationship with his late father, the renowned actor Jerzy Stuhr. He described his father as a strict critic who rarely offered praise and suggested that, on a psychological level, his father may have viewed him as a competitor. The actor noted that he only began to speak openly about these family dynamics and the pressures of growing up in a famous household after his father's passing.
