MACK Group unveils eatX immersive dining concept

The MACK Group has unveiled eatX, a new concept designed to merge gastronomy with immersive entertainment for the theme park industry. The concept utilizes a patented technology called FlowDiner, which features an autonomous moving table that transports groups of up to four adults and two small children through various themed environments.

Karls Erlebnis-Dorf in Elstal, Germany, will be the first operator to implement this technology. The attraction, titled the ‘Strawberry Dining Journey,’ is scheduled to open in the summer of 2027. The experience will combine a three-course meal with storytelling, projections, light, sound, and movement as guests travel through five different themed worlds centered around the discovery of the garden strawberry.

Developed by the MACK Group—which includes Europa-Park, Rulantica, and MACK Rides—eatX evolves from the group’s previous immersive fine-dining experience, Eatrenalin.
