Mack Hollins faces injury uncertainty and NFL fines
New England Patriots wide receiver Mack Hollins is facing multiple developments following the team's 29-26 victory over the Buffalo Bills. Hollins sustained a calf injury during the second half of the game and exited the field. Head coach Mike Vrabel stated that Hollins' status for upcoming practices and the Week 5 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders remains uncertain.
Separately, the NFL has issued Hollins two fines totaling $34,441 stemming from a single play during a Week 3 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The league assessed $11,941 for taunting and $22,500 for unnecessary roughness involving his helmet.
Despite these challenges, Hollins was recently named the NFLPA Community MVP for Week 4. He received the honor for his charitable work with the Special Olympics, which included hosting a community event for over 100 athletes.
