Macklin Celebrini sidelined by injury during Sharks vs. Stars game

San Jose Sharks captain Macklin Celebrini was ruled out of a game against the Dallas Stars due to a lower-body injury. Celebrini reportedly left the ice during pre-game warm-ups, and the team announced his absence shortly before puck drop.

Head coach Ryan Warsofsky stated that the team will evaluate the 20-year-old star's condition. Celebrini had started the season strongly, recording five assists in his first two games.

Without their captain, the Sharks suffered a 5–0 shutout loss to the Stars, marking their first defeat of the season. The Dallas victory was fueled by goals from Miro Heiskanen, Joel Kiviranta, and Mikko Rantanen, along with two assists from Roope Hintz.
