Macnica and GMO Cybersecurity launch monosec360 platform

Macnica and GMO Cybersecurity by Yerrae have launched monosec360, a service platform designed to support product security for small and medium-sized manufacturers. The platform aims to address the challenges these companies face in meeting increasing regulatory requirements, such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), due to limited budgets and specialized personnel.

monosec360 provides a structured approach through four phases: Learn, Build, Practice, and Improve. It offers templates, educational content, and tools to help companies establish Product Security Incident Response Teams (PSIRT), conduct threat analysis, and manage vulnerabilities. The service also includes ongoing support from expert consultants to assist with regulatory compliance and incident response.

Future updates for the platform are expected to include features for Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) management and AI-driven vulnerability risk assessment to further automate and improve efficiency in product security workflows.
