Macron deploys military assets to Saudi Arabia as fuel crisis looms

French President Emmanuel Macron has announced the deployment of military resources, including soldiers, radars, and defense systems, to Saudi Arabia to protect the Yanbu oil terminal. This move aims to secure crude oil exports in the Red Sea against threats from Houthi rebels and mitigate the impact of geopolitical tensions on fuel prices. Macron stated that while supply for diesel, gas, and fuel is guaranteed through the end of the year, the situation remains grave due to conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine.
