Mactan-Cebu International Airport recognized as one of Asia-Pacific’s best

Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) has received two major recognitions from Airports Council International (ACI), solidifying its status as a leading airport in the Asia-Pacific region for passenger experience.

At the ACI Airport Experience Summit 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye, MCIA was named among the Best Airports in Asia-Pacific within the 5–15 million passengers category. This marks the second consecutive year the airport has received the ACI Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Customer Experience Award under the management of Aboitiz InfraCapital (AIC) Airports.

The ASQ awards are determined by standardized passenger surveys measuring experiences across various airport touchpoints. AIC Airports continues to invest in infrastructure, technology, and operations to enhance connectivity and support tourism and trade in Cebu and the Philippines.
