Mad Cave Studios announces new Snake Plissken comic

Mad Cave Studios has announced a new one-shot comic titled ‘Escape From New York: Escape From the North Pole’, featuring the character Snake Plissken. The story is written by Fred Kennedy with art by Danilo Beyruth and lettering by Jeff Eckleberry.

In this installment, Snake Plissken is apprehended for smuggling contraband and sent to Camp Vincent, also known as the Ellesmere Island Containment Facility, located in the Arctic. The organization Canadian Shield offers him an ultimatum: he must rescue Soviet geneticist Dr. Svetlana Lysenko from a Siberian bioweapons facility overrun by mutated organisms, or remain imprisoned on Ellesmere Island permanently.

The release is scheduled for December 23. This follows the recent release of ‘Escape From Chicago’ by Mad Cave Studios, which holds the license for the franchise.
