Madagascar Barea set 2027 CAN qualification schedule

Madagascar's national football team, the Barea, will begin their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) qualification campaign with two decisive matches. Their first fixture is an away game against Nigeria on September 25 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

Following the match in Nigeria, Madagascar is scheduled to host Tanzania on September 29. Due to the lack of a certified stadium at home, the match will be played at the Stade d'Honneur in Meknes, Morocco.

Madagascar is placed in Group L. Since Tanzania has already qualified for the tournament as a host nation, only one qualifying spot remains in the group, meaning the Barea must finish at the top of the standings to secure their place.
