Madden Colón to begin maintenance on Aminta Meléndez viaduct

Concesionaria Madden Colón will begin maintenance work on the Aminta Meléndez Avenue viaduct in Panama. The project aims to optimize and preserve the road infrastructure by repairing the asphalt surface and viaduct joints.

Preparatory work involving a partial closure of the viaduct is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., during which one lane toward the Arco Iris sector will remain open. Formal maintenance is set to begin on Tuesday, September 15, and is expected to last approximately 30 days. During this period, the viaduct will operate only in the direction from 4 Altos toward Arco Iris, with work being carried out in phases to maintain traffic flow. Once the repairs are complete, horizontal signaling will be applied to the area.
