Maddison Levi named to Australian Wallaroos squad for Black Ferns clash

Rugby star Maddison Levi has been named in the Australian Wallaroos squad for their upcoming match against the Black Ferns in Auckland on August 22. The match marks the 100th test in Wallaroos history.

Levi, a 24-year-old standout in Rugby Sevens, is transitioning to the 15-a-side format. She has established herself as one of the most prolific scorers in the sport, having surpassed 250 tries on the global circuit and ranking as one of the top try-scorers in history.

While her inclusion in the squad does not guarantee an immediate debut, Levi aims to bring her signature speed and offensive instinct to the team. She has extended her commitment to Rugby Australia through the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, with long-term goals including the 2029 Rugby World Cup.
