Maddy Hill and Danny Hatchard to return to EastEnders

Actors Maddy Hill and Danny Hatchard are set to return to the BBC soap opera EastEnders this autumn. Hill will reprise her role as Nancy Carter, while Hatchard returns as her brother, Lee Carter.

The characters' return is part of a storyline involving the departure of matriarch Linda Carter, played by Kellie Bright, who is expected to leave the series in early 2027. Executive producer Ben Wadey expressed excitement about bringing the Carter family members back together in Walford.

Maddy Hill was recently observed at Elstree Studios wearing a “baby on board” badge, leading to speculation among fans regarding whether her real-life pregnancy will be incorporated into Nancy Carter’s upcoming scenes, though she has not officially commented on her personal circumstances.
