Made in Korea 2 scheduled for release on Disney+

The second season of the Korean drama “Made in Korea” is scheduled to release on Disney+. The new season will consist of six episodes, with the first two episodes debuting on September 9, 2026, followed by two episodes every Wednesday, concluding on September 23, 2026.

Set nine years after the events of the first season, the story follows Baek Ki-tae (Hyun Bin), who has risen to the position of Deputy Director of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency (KCIA) and is expanding his influence through various operations. He faces a renewed threat from Jang Geon-young (Jung Woo Sung), who is seeking revenge. The plot also features Baek Ki-hyun (Woo Do Hwan), who pursues a different path to power than his brother.

The upcoming season explores a complex web of political instability and personal ambition, including a confrontation between the KCIA and military forces led by Hwang Dae Sik during a period of political transition.
