Made in Korea Season 2 features nine-year time jump

The second season of the K-drama ‘Made in Korea’ is set to release, featuring a narrative jump of nine years. The series stars Hyun Bin as Baek Kitae, who has risen to the position of Deputy Director of the Korean CIA (KCIA) and expanded his drug operations. The plot follows his ongoing conflict with prosecutor Jang Geonyoung, played by Jung Woosung, who seeks revenge after being framed in the first season.

Actor Hyun Bin noted that the new season explores how characters have changed over the decade-long time jump. He specifically highlighted a ten-minute sequence in the production where his character, Kitae, remains silent, expressing curiosity regarding audience reactions to the non-verbal performance. The series is part of a broader lineup of K-dramas arriving on streaming platforms in September 2026.
