Madeira advances student support with new library and digital manual funding

The regional party Nova Direita launched the Library of Autonomy, a free legal bibliography service for law students in Madeira, with plans to expand to other subjects. The initiative aims to ease the financial burden on families and will provide physical books on appointment and digital PDFs on request.

The Madeira regional government approved an additional €188,904 to strengthen monitoring of a digital school‑manual project run by the University of Madeira, alongside other contracts for sports development and public facilities. The funding is intended to improve access to digital learning resources for schools across the archipelago.
