Madeira CRIEE program facilitates 1,024 jobs since 2015

The CRIEE (Company Creation and Employment) program in the Madeira Autonomous Region has facilitated the establishment of 619 companies and the creation of 1,024 jobs since its launch in 2015. The program has seen a cumulative public investment exceeding 11.5 million euros.

In a recent ceremony presided over by the Regional Secretary for Inclusion, Labor, and Youth, Paula Margarido, five new incentive concession contracts were signed. These new projects, based in Funchal, represent a global investment of over 281,000 euros and are expected to create nine additional jobs. The diverse business sectors supported include pool maintenance, electrical and electronic security installation, prepared meal services, aesthetics, and IT consultancy.
